Works as a head of the Department of Economics, Faculty of Operation and Economics of Transport and Communications, University of Zilina. His application, technical and scientific activities are focused mainly on the problematic of application of quantitative mathematical-statistical methods in financial management and decision-making process of companies, Data Envelopment Analysis, neural networks, genetic algorithms, fuzzy logic, multivariate statistical methods, risk quantification and analysis, etc. His findings are published in two domestic scientific monograph, one foreign expert monograph in Russian, two expert publications in English, 3 domestic academic publications, 2 domestic lecture notes, 22 articles in domestic scientific and expert journals, 32 articles in foreign scientific journals, 40 papers in proceedings of domestic international conferences and 58 papers in proceedings of foreign international conferences. The relevant publications, articles and comments have been quoted more than 800 times in inland and outland. He is a member of the editorial boards of three international peer-reviewed journals indexed in Scopus (Economics, Management and Financial Markets, Journal of Self-Governance and Management Economics and International Journal of Industrial Engineering and Management), a member of the scientific boards of several conferences, a member of universities scientific councils and an editor-in-chief of the peer-review scientific journal Ekonomicko-manažérske spektrum.

He has been a leader of two research and development projects supported and financed by the Slovak Research and Development Agency and the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic; and of ten scientific projects financed and supported by the Slovak Academy of Science and the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic. The projects consider mainly his expertise in the field of econometrics, mathematical programming, neural networks and risk management.

Full professor at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, ranked 351-400th in the world and in the top 501-550 internationally, and in second place in Romania in the Business and Management subdomain, and the dean of the Faculty of Administration and Public Management. PhD coordinator since 2016, is a leading scientist in management and economics, with a focus on human resource management and its strategic aspects, as well as modern aspects of smart economies, using current advanced research methods, mathematical and statistical models in my scientific research. Doctor Honoris Causa at the University of Zilina, Slovakia, at the proposal of the Faculty of Operation and Economics of Transport and Communications and a member of the Departmental commission of doctoral studies in the study field of economics and management of the Faculty of Operation and Economics of Transport and Communications, University of Žilina, Slovakia (since 2020).

Highly Cited Scholar in the Web of Science databases, SCOPUS, with international and national awards won for publication work. Her WoS H-index is 12 and SCOPUS H-index 29. She was also listed in Stanford University's "Top 2% Scientists in the World" for four consecutive years (2019-2022). She has published 180 WoS, Scopus and IDB articles and 21 specialty books, 6 chapters in collective volumes published abroad. She collaborated with the most well-known international publishers such as Elsevier, Springer, Taylor&Francis, John Wiley. She is Senior Research Fellow of some national and international research institutes, part of numerous scientific boards of national and international scientific events, lead international journals indexed in databases and is part of the editorial boards of such journals. She is a member of prestigious international scientific or professional associations. She is a reviewer for international WoS journals such as: SAGE Open, Economies, Mathematics, Computers, Sensor, Administratice Sciences, Cybernetics and more.
